Yuanhai is a BaZi charting and classical-text interpretation service: a deterministic engine (true-solar-time correction, global timezones, four languages) plus plain-language interpretations and a classical library grounded in works such as Yuanhai Ziping, Di Tian Sui, Qiong Tong Bao Jian and Zi Ping Zhen Quan.
How the engine works: the four pillars, luck pillars, annual and monthly pillars are all computed by deterministic algorithms — no LLM takes part in charting — and the result is double-checked, so the same birth data always yields the same chart.
Why correct for true solar time? Clock time is anchored to the central meridian of a timezone, so the birth place's longitude shifts true solar time away from the wall clock; Yuanhai converts using the timezone and longitude, so two places sharing one wall-clock reading do not silently share an hour pillar. Global timezones are supported.
How is the late zi-hour (23:00–24:00) treated? The choice affects births between 23:00 and 24:00 only: the day either rolls over at 23:00 (mainstream) or stays on the same day (minority).
What do you get? Beyond the four pillars, ten gods, five elements, na yin, hidden stems, strength, luck pillars, annual and monthly pillars, you can generate an 8-chapter report on the classical texts with a citation behind every conclusion. The rule library holds 49 rules with verbatim classical sources, and the classical library covers 104 works.
Which languages and regions are supported? Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English and Japanese, with global timezones for birth places.
How should the results be read? The service is a textual interpretation of classical literature, for cultural and entertainment reference only; it is not advice of any kind.
